Street parking is available along Water Avenue and nearby streets. If you prefer to park in the building lot, cross Water Avenue, drive to the end of Taylor Street, and turn right into the parking lot. Visitor parking is located in the center of the lot, across from the main entrance, and requires payment at the kiosk.

The building entrance is inside the parking area, facing the river.

A little note about getting here

Marma is tucked between the river and the train tracks in Southeast Portland—an industrial, urban pocket of the city that I genuinely love being part of. One of the things I love about this location is its sense of place: the river, the working waterfront, the trains, and the beautiful mix of old and new.

Because of that, I recommend giving yourself a little extra time when coming to your appointment. Trains are not frequent, but they do occasionally pass through and can temporarily block the most direct route to the studio. Please allow enough time to park, find the entrance, and navigate the area without feeling rushed.

If you happen to meet a train on your way, there is a workaround: cross the bridge and come around the other side. You can also take the opportunity to explore some of the wonderful local shops, cafés, and places to grab a bite nearby.

Please note that arriving late or missing an appointment because of a train delay is still subject to Marma's regular cancellation and late-arrival policy. I share this simply so you can plan ahead and arrive with ease.

Thank you for understanding—and I hope you enjoy this little corner of Portland and its wonderfully urban character as much as I do.
